Yes, an amazing woman. In my brief, late-in-life, 12-year ESL teaching career, I had to sit through many faculty and departmental meetings and 'professional development opportunities' when I had to spend a majority of the time biting my tongue and keeping my mouth shut to avoid shouting out obscenities in anger and frustration. Miss Snuffy would have been a welcome breath of fresh air at any of those events. Our schools, like our grid, are in a state of perilous fragility. Meanwhile, the education establishment worries about gender identity, misgendering, pronoun choice, diversity and inclusion. I guess AI is coming along at the right time. Natural intelligence is in steep decline.

Yes, there are plenty of TikTok and YouTube videos of teachers describing the horrors of teaching today's students, especially in inner-city schools. Of course, when they leave, the problem gets worse because they are replaced by the young and woke. The depressing thing is that many parents don't know all this is going on.

Exactly. I know someone personally who was an elementary school teacher in San Jose, CA. A great woman and teacher who really cared and listened.

She was tormented by the woke admin and retired out early!
